Since last I blogged, Belle Star has been shown at 4 more shows around the valley of Phoenix and local area. Belle has had professional training by a very well respected trainer and handler who breed/showed and was a judge for English Bulldogs for 25 years. Karen has been very helpful in helping Belle to be very competetive, well behavied and relaxed. Karen has also been working with me to teach me to be a better hanlder. The lessons and training have been paying off. Belle has won several 1st place in her class as well as a BOB.
The Phoenix Bulldog Club sponsored a local specialty show that had a great turnout from bullies from many other states as well as entries from Mexico.
Next weekend, Belle travels to Boulder Nevada for her next dog show. This will be a Saturday and Sunday show with bullies from all over the southwest. In case you didn't know, Boulder is only 45 minutes from downtown LAS VEGAS !!. So when the classes are over...I GET to go to town...so to speak. Belle will have to stay in the room. And what happens in Vegas....stays in Vegas. But I will tell you about the dog show.
And then the first weekend in April will be another Bulldog show in Phoenix. All ready signed up for that one as well.
So as you can see, not only do we breed and raise our outstanding bullies, we feel strong enough about what we have in our breeding program to show them in competetion as well. Not only do we offer great companions, couch potatoes and pet, but we also can offer show dogs as well.
